Johannesburg – The public spat between former Generations: The Legacy actress Letoya Makhene-Pulumo and her estranged wife Lebo Pumulo-Makhene has taken a dark turn, with each woman making serious allegations against the other, including claims of infidelity, physical abuse, and s3xual assault.
The drama began last month on the popular podcast Sunday World Engage, with Makhene accusing Keswa of hating her children, kicking them out of their home, and being an alcoholic. She also alleged that Keswa physically assaulted her and scalded her with boiling water, subsequently lying to her family that Makhene had inflicted the burn wounds herself.
"What happened at the time, according to her, was that the man’s wife was working in Dubai. So the guy and his wife were having problems while she was in Dubai, so he called Letoya to ask her for a meeting to discuss the issues he was having with his wife. They went somewhere for a late lunch or early dinner. They met there, and the guy drove her back home after that. So he drove her home, parked the car outside her home, and they were talking, and as they were talking, he ripped her pants apart and started violating her," Keswa revealed, recounting Makhene's own words.
Keswa alleges that Makhene never reported the incident to her father or anyone else, choosing to carry the trauma in silence. She also revealed that Makhene was violated by four other men, including a businessman from Pretoria, a former Gladiator, and a businessman with whom Makhene allegedly had an affair.
"We kind of made this public at some point using an influencer’s page on Twitter, and we exposed all of these guys," Keswa said, adding that the men, whose names were published online last year, have denied the allegations.
"She must find healing from all the pain that those five men installed in her instead of thinking that she can take mphepho and burn it, and their d*cks are going to fall off because of what they did to her. She must see a psychologist," Keswa implored.
In an interview on the Engineering your Life podcast, Lebo also claimed that Letoya asked her to open a case of rape against a man she had tl0f tl0f with in a toilet at a night club while the man's wife was waiting for him in the car.
"This happened while the wife of the man she had s3x with was waiting in the car; the woman had earlier consoled her that our marriage would work out. She wanted me to open a case of rape against this guy. I refused. She later confessed that she asked him to have s3x with her in exchange for cocaine," Lebo alleged.
She also claimed that Letoya had tried to get her support to open cases against four other men she knew she was sleeping with. Lebo also claimed that Letoya would go to bed drunk and she would stand in for her by playing drums for her initiates.
Lebo also accused Letoya of being a fake gobela.
"She is a fake gobela. This person used to charge people R50,000 for initiation and R20,000 for consultation," said Lebo.
"She made me beat the drum for her initiates because she was drunk. I also had to keep a ad a journal of muthi she wanted and she would wake up me up at 3am to buy muthi for her from muti shops. She said she became voiceless in her marriage because she was marvel to a celebrity
She said Letoya would abuse her exes in front of her, and she would just watch her do it. In July, Letoya claimed that Lebo beat her up and forced her to cut her signature dreadlocks.
"Letoya assaulted me three times, when she tried to do it the fourth time, I defended myself," Lebo responded to the physical abuse claims.
Letoya, however, has remained mum on the allegations, stating that she will not be responding to her wife's accusations or entertaining them. "I can't comment at this time," she added.
