"The marriage relationship between the parties has irretrievably broken down and has reached such a stage of disintegration that there is no reasonable prospect for its restoration," the court papers state.

The application also seeks an equitable division of the couple's joint assets, with a request for the spouse to contribute financially towards the maintenance of their shared home.
The executive's proposed contribution towards the couple's children includes provision for food, medical aid, clothing, school fees, uniforms, extracurricular activities, transport, birthday gifts, and entertainment.
The spouse, who also remains unnamed for legal reasons, has formally indicated their intention to defend against the divorce application. Legal representation has been secured through the firm Biccari Bollo Mariano Incorporated.
The notice of intention to defend, filed last week, reads: “Pleased to take notice that the defendant hereby gives notice of her intention to defend the above-mentioned action. Be pleased to take notice further that the defendant hereby appoints the offices of Messrs Biccari Bollo Mariano Inc, 8a Bradford Road, Bedfordview 2007, as the address for service of all documents, pleadings and notices in the above-mentioned matter.”

The executive's application included a challenge to the spouse to indicate within ten days whether they intended to oppose the divorce and division of assets.
