ohannesburg, South Africa – TV and radio personality Masechaba Ndlovu has embarked on a new chapter in her life, tying the knot for the third time, this time with music executive Ntethe. After two previous marriages, Masechaba has found love once more, and she couldn't be happier.
The couple's announcement came via social media, where Masechaba expressed her joy in marrying her best friend, who is also the father of her youngest child. “My chief strategist, my lover, my life. Baba ka @lukhanyo_lwezizwe, ndiyakuthanda. Ndiyabulela Faku, Nyawuza, Mpondo,” she wrote, sharing her excitement with her followers.
Masechaba's journey in love has seen its share of ups and downs. She first married businessman Mfundo Ntsibande, but it was her union with Vusi Ndlovu on November 20, 2015, that made significant headlines. After changing her surname to Ndlovu, the marriage ultimately did not last, and the couple parted ways in early 2018.
Reflecting on her latest marriage, Masechaba declared, “As we embark on this journey together, may no weapon formed against us prosper. This was the happiest day of my life. I love you, @official_ntethe, and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you.”
The couple celebrated their wedding in traditional attire, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of South Africa. Fans and fellow celebrities quickly flocked to social media to congratulate the newlyweds. One user, @Vuyelwa_tshona, wrote, “Congratulations Mkhaya! @official_ntethe 🙌🏾 Wishing you both a lifetime of love and happiness. May God bless your union abundantly.”
Another follower, @Naledimoleo, added, “A beautiful ceremony Sis. So glad I could be there to witness your stunning union. Congratulations Ma Khumalo.” The outpouring of love and support was evident, with many expressing their best wishes for the couple's future together.
In addition to Masechaba's personal happiness, her relationship with Ntethe has also been marked by their shared joy in parenthood. In 2023, she announced the arrival of their son, Lukhanyo Lesizwe, and took the opportunity to pen an open letter to him. In this heartfelt message, she praised Ntethe for being an exceptional father.
“I honestly don’t know how I would have coped if it weren’t for your dad. Steve Harvey says, 'there are fathers and there are daddys.' Anyone can be a father, but you have a daddy,” she wrote. She described how Ntethe has taken on the role of caregiver, particularly during their son's bath times, creating a special bonding experience between father and son.
“It gives me so much joy to just relax and watch him render such a powerful act of service to you. I’m in awe every single day,” she added, highlighting the deep connection they share as a family.
In a parallel narrative, actor Lizwe Khumbuza and talent manager Luyanda Duma have also tied the knot, marking another celebration of love within the entertainment industry. The couple welcomed a son in February last year, and in April, Luyanda revealed that Khumbuza’s uncles had visited her home to pay lobola.
Previously in a relationship with travel blogger Thobeka Thobi Rose, Khumbuza has now found happiness with Duma. Their love story was featured in the GQ Black Love Series, celebrating authentic representations of black love. However, the timeline surrounding Khumbuza's split from Rose remains unclear, leading to speculation about the nature of his relationship with Duma.
