Johannesburg – Media personality Minnie Dlamini has officially moved on after her highly publicised divorce from Quinton Jones, revealing her new romance with celebrity plastic surgeon, Dr Brian Monaisa, who is 14 years her senior.
The 34-year-old presenter confirmed the relationship on Valentine's Day, Friday, 14 February 2025, with a series of loved-up posts that have set social media ablaze.
Dlamini took to her Facebook page to share photos of herself and the 48-year-old Dr Monaisa alongside a blue luxury Porsche, declaring her affection with the caption: "Roses are red, our favourite colour is blue. Happy Valentine’s Day from me to you. Thanks for loving me and loving me loudly. Happy Valentine’s Day Motho Waka."
The post was quickly followed by another on Instagram, featuring a picture of Monaisa kissing Dlamini on the cheek, as well as the image of her standing next to the eye-catching blue Porsche. She reiterated her Valentine's Day message, thanking her man for his affection.
Dlamini's followers have flooded her posts with congratulatory messages, admiring her new luxury wheels and celebrating her newfound love.
MOVE OVER, LERATO…
Usually, radio personality Lerato Kganyago receives lavish gifts from her hubby, but this year, Dlamini seems to have topped the list when it comes to celebs who have received big gifts this year.
The couple has been posting pictures of each other from different places and locations. Last week, they made it to the trending list after they posted in Zimbabwe; sources close to the situation say they love each other and the doctor wants to make things official. According to the source, he refers to her as wifey already.
"They make sense; they love each other, and Dlamini has learnt so much from him. They have met each other's families and we wouldn't be surprised if they get engaged soon," added the source.
According to the source, Dlamini deserves better after her soon-to-be ex has been dragging her to court for maintenance support.
NO SHAME ANYMORE
Dlamini's romantic declaration comes after weeks of speculation and drama, with sources claiming the couple are head over heels for each other and that Dr Monaisa is already referring to Dlamini as "wifey".
In a now-deleted social media outburst, Aloyce dragged Dlamini's name through the mud. However, she later issued an apology to Dlamini for her actions, stating: "I come to you as a hurt, broken woman who was betrayed by the man she loved. I am not here to seek sympathy but to put things into perspective so that my family, child and I can move on and put this behind us."
Not long after Aloyce's outburst, Monaisa seemingly confirmed the relationship by sharing a post about their recent getaway to Zimbabwe, writing: "I asked my girl to come with me for a business trip, she made it amazing."
The Daily Sun contacted Minnie for further comment, but she declined, stating: "I’m not going to comment to Daily Sun, sorry." Attempts to contact Dr Monaisa were unsuccessful.
Dr Monaisa has built his reputation as one of the best plastic surgeons in Mzansi, known for his work in the beauty surgery field, performing procedures like mommy makeovers, breast rejuvenation, and body contouring.
Despite the controversy surrounding the start of their relationship, it seems Minnie Dlamini has found love again and is embracing her new romance with Dr Brian Monaisa. Only time will tell if this relationship will stand the test of time.
