Queen Lolly drops bombshell, weeps after HIV tests: Gogo Skhotheni betrayed me with polygamist Musa Mseleku's son

The South African entertainment scene is buzzing with drama as singer Queen Lolly, real name Nomfundo Shezi, has accused her former friend, traditional healer Gogo Skhotheni, of betrayal and using her name for clout.

The explosive revelations came during a recent episode of the De Original Careless podcast, where Queen Lolly detailed the alleged affair between Skhotheni and Mpumelelo Mseleku, son of polygamist Musa Mseleku from the popular reality show Uthando Nes'thembu.

"My friendship with Gogo Skhotheni was good until I realised she was not a friend, or rather, she did not consider me as her friend," Queen Lolly shared on the podcast.

She explained that Skhotheni had initially asked her to be a guest on her podcast but kept making excuses, delaying the interview.

Then, a message from Gogo Maweni, another traditional healer, on Instagram alerted Queen Lolly to the truth.

"When I went to her page, the first thing I saw and heard was about me, and I feel like people take advantage of my name," Queen Lolly said, referring to Skhotheni's podcast.

"The same way that the cast of Izingane ZeSthembu did, telling people that I am sick, and I made Mpumelelo sick. Every time they feel like they do not have content, they use my name."

Queen Lolly expressed her hurt and betrayal, stating that Skhotheni interviewed Mseleku despite knowing the history between them and the pain they had caused her.

"Gogo Maweni opened up my eyes and told me that Skhotheni was busy sleeping with Mseleku," she revealed.

"She further said that at one of her events, they were all over each other while her husband, Monde Shange, was there."

Queen Lolly shared that she confronted Skhotheni about the allegations but was met with defensiveness and eventually blocked. The emotional weight of the situation led Queen Lolly to take an HIV test live on the podcast, proving her status and breaking down as she revealed the results.

She explained that her child has been bullied at school because other children tease her about having a mother who is sick.

She also criticised Mzansi Magic for allowing people to slander her name and air an episode where she was being defamed.

This latest revelation adds another layer of drama to the already complex relationships within the South African entertainment industry.
