Katlehong, Ekurhuleni – Prophet Paseka "Mboro" Motsoeneng has announced that he will be leaving the premises of his Incredible Happenings Church following a devastating fire that destroyed the building in August. The blaze, allegedly set by pupils from various schools in the area, has left the church and its community in shock.
Reflecting on the loss, Mboro stated, “It has finally dawned on me that our church structure is gone.”
He expressed his deep sorrow over the destruction, revealing that the fire resulted in the loss of valuable church property, including the sound system, chairs, and the entire hundred-metre tent structure.
“I must be honest with you, I'm hurt by the whole incident because the damage of the property amounts to millions,” he lamented.

On Sunday, 17 November, Mboro informed his congregation that there would be no church services at the premises for the next three weeks. While he did not disclose the new location for the church, he expressed gratitude for the support from his congregation, stating, “Church members have worked out a solution to help me move the church from this place to another area. I'm thankful for the congregation's support, who saw it befitting to get a new venue.”
Mboro described the current location as a “place of shame” due to the events that transpired. He emphasised the need to leave behind the site of such tragedy, saying, “We're closing and leaving the place of shame, but there will be stones around the place and a billboard that will be showing the extraordinary miracles that were happening in the church.”
In a bid to bid farewell to the site that held so much significance for many, Mboro announced that the congregation will host a three-day farewell celebration from 6 to 8 December. “The farewell ceremony will mark the final chapter of what used to be our place of worship and miracles. Many people were healed and received their breakthrough at this church before it was burnt down,” he said.
