One of the April winners, a 35-year-old man, said he planned to continue working despite his newfound wealth. The third winner, who spent R37,50 on his ticket, expressed his intention to enhance his contributions to charity.
The Powerball Plus jackpot was not won in the September 13 draw, but it is estimated at R36million for the next draw on September 17, 2024. This jackpot has rolled over for 12 consecutive times, meaning the prize pot has been growing steadily with each draw.
In the Powerball Plus second division, two people matched five correct numbers and will each win R150,457.50.
