Businessperson Jerry Mogapi has spoken out about his alleged romantic relationship with award-winning Mafikizolo group member Nhlanhla Mafu.
After initially denying that he was dating the musician, Mogapi went on to harass a City Press journalist with incessant calls and threatened to harm her if the story of their alleged relationship was published
In a chilling telephone call recorded by the journalist, Mogapi says he knows where the reporter lives.
“What do you have to do with my personal life?” he asks, and then interjects before the reporter can respond, saying: “
Listen here, let me explain something to you. If I find any sh*t that will be written about my name, you must be able to stand for it.
“So, go ahead and write your story, but if I do find any cr*p written about me, you must stand for it.”
When asked if he was threatening the reporter, Mogapi responded by telling the reporter her address and stressing that he knows where to find her.
“I am not threatening you. I am telling you. I know you and I am telling you that if I find any sh*t that will put myself, my family and my children in danger…”
And then he hung up the phone.
This week, popular publication Zimoja claimed that Mogapi was the man behind a viral photo that was shared by the singer on Christmas Day, in which a man’s face is blurred out, along with those of two minors.
