Multi-award winning singer and songwriter Vusi Nova is grateful to be alive after facing another health scare. The Vul'indlela hitmaker revealed he was recently hospitalized for high blood pressure and minor heart issues triggered by fatigue, posting a photo from his recovery bed.
Sharing a photo from the hospital, Vusi expressed gratitude for being alive and urged his fans to prioritize their well-being. He advised exercising regularly, maintaining a proper diet, going for check-ups, and eating clean. Vusi mentioned that his heart condition was not his first health scare, as he had previously been hospitalized for mitral valve prolapse, a heart valve disease that can develop at any age.
Nova stressed the importance of exercise, diet, checkups and managing stress levels. "Make sure you take care of yourself – your health is wealth," he urged.
In addition to his health challenges, Vusi has also faced life-threatening situations on the road. He survived a serious accident earlier this year while traveling to a gig in the Vaal, from Somizi Mhlongo's 50th birthday celebration in Sun City, Northwest. "When I left my friends at Sun City, at no point was I thinking that it could be the last time that I see them. At no point was I thinking of that and then this accident happened on the way,' he said. "I'm not trying to preach, but I'm being real; I'm being realistic, especially coming from what just happened yesterday. That was a serious accident and by the grace of God ,once again, my bodyguards and I are alright," he continued. and in 2020, he was involved in another car accident where his vehicle overturned.
Through these experiences, Vusi emphasizes the importance of cherishing each moment and being realistic about life's uncertainties. He expresses gratitude for his survival and acknowledges the role of grace in his well-being.
Despite the obstacles he has faced, Vusi remains determined and continues to focus on his music career, now running his own recording label, grooming talent, and managing bookings. He has taken on additional responsibilities since parting ways with Muthaland Records.
