He's mostly known for his music. In hip-hop, relationships, intimacy, women are all fair game.
But in real life, it doesn't have to be that way, he believes.
When you meet a woman and are instantly attracted to them, it could be an attraction to a deeper connection rather than a physical one, he says.
Sharing some wisdom in a short video on Instagram, award-winning rapper and media personality Cassper Nyovest had a few words for men regarding their relationship with intimacy.
He says that oftentimes men carry this mentality of wanting to be involved with every attractive woman they meet.
He believes that is dangerous because men then miss out on great friendships and helpers, simply because they limit that relationship to mere physical encounters.
“We miss out on a lot of beautiful experiences and friendships because we want to engage physically with every attractive woman we meet. We want to pursue physical relationships with everyone who shows interest in us or whom we find interesting. You might meet someone and realize that it was only their appearance that initially attracted you, but in reality, this person may have been sent to assist you with something in the near future.”
He goes on to share how he encountered someone whom he found attractive and immediately thought of pursuing a physical relationship with her. However, despite it not happening, she later provided support when he faced a personal issue.
“I met a woman recently who I found attractive, and I wanted to sleep with her but it didn’t happen. She went through something, and I thought she was just ghosting me for no reason. I recently faced a challenge in my life and she reached out to me after I put up a status on WhatsApp and she’s been so helpful.
“Try and oppress that energy of wanting to just bang, bang, bang, there might be a beautiful experience behind you meeting this person. You could gain honest friendships.”
