The Ranaka sisters, Dineo, Mpumi, and Manaka, may seem like an unbreakable trio, but they've been candid about their sibling struggles. "We have our fights and we're real with each other," Mpumi shares, acknowledging that this year has put their bond to the test.

Manaka and Mpumi open up about a challenging period where they stopped speaking for a whole year due to a significant fallout.

"It would have been sad for me to get married, which is something that is happening soon without my sisters being there. So, I am happy that we have reunited," Mpumi says. Without going too much into detail Manaka says when they were asked to be guests of the Festive Get-Together in the Life Artois, she became reluctant thinking that maybe they knew something about the fallout.

"Firstly, I asked myself, why they would want the three of us; myself, Mpumi and Dineo? What do they know? Do they know besingakhulimisani? (Did they know that we were not on speaking terms) We didn't know we would go through some healing process that reconciling we didn't ask for," she admits.

Mpumi expresses her relief at before her upcoming wedding, ensuring her sisters will be there. "It would've been heartbreaking to have such a milestone without them," she admits gratefully.

Reflecting on an invitation to the Festive Get-Together in Life Artois, Manaka initially hesitated, suspecting if they were aware of their fallout. "I wondered why they'd want all three of us when we were estranged. Did they know we weren't speaking?" she confesses. Unexpectedly, this event became a catalyst for healing, catching them off guard.

Their reunion came about during their father's 80th birthday lunch. "We barely talked for a year until our dad's celebration," Manaka recalls. "It's strange how things unfolded. We arrived not speaking, ate together, and by the end, we were conversing. There were tears, but it was a moment of bonding despite unresolved issues. Ultimately, we're family."

" We have just started talking slightly after a year of not speaking because of our dad," Manaka says. "God works in mysterious ways. We were not talking when my dad turned 80. We arrived, ate and at the end of the birthday lunch, we were talking. We didn't even bicker, as one would expect. At the end of that evening, everyone was in tears, we were talking and bonding . Yes, there are some unresolved issues, but we love each other, after all, we are siblings."

Manaka also stood up for Dineo amid social media backlash during Dineo's challenging time, even when they weren't on speaking terms. "I will defend my sister even If we are not talking," she says. "Luckily at the time, we had just started speaking."

Fortunately, their reconciliation had just begun. Currently, Dineo is thriving with her Podcast and Chill family in Miami, where she's employed. They emphasize the difficulty of managing personal issues while in the public eye.

They refrain from delving into the reasons behind their rift, highlighting instead the significance of how things resolved. "The way it all worked out matters to me," Manaka concludes, emphasizing the importance of their reconnection.
