We have seen Kaizer Chiefs HIGHEST-paid players and the salaries of Amakhosi’s legends… Now, we look at the LOWEST-paid player at Naturena.
The lowest paid player at Chiefs may surprise you. What is even more surprising is What he earns – the gap between his salary and the club’s top earners!
As of late 2021, Sabelo Radebe was the lowest-paid player at Amakhosi.
Amakhosi have not issued any details on salary changes this year.
SABELO RADEBE – R20 000
Radebe earned R20 000 when he joined the Chiefs senior side last season.
Making him the lowest-paid player at the club, according to Newshub360. This was before he had started any games for Amakhosi. Since then, he has earned several starts and become a fan-favourite and his salary will have no doubt increased, substantially.
R20 000 without a game played is certainly a decent starting package.
He will continue to grow in value – earning a higher salary while his transfer value increases. Radebe is just 22 years old and their is little doubt that Arthur Zwane will want to build his side around his young up-and-coming stars.
Zwane places emphasis on the future of Amakhosi and their youngsters.
Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Njabulo Blom, Happy Mashiane and Radebe are all likely to see far more game time now than they did under Stuart Baxter.
